about

Well, it has been quite some time since I released anything on here.
So I guess I'll explain a little bit about these tracks.
At some point during mid-2014, things started changing all at once in my life. I moved on from an old pop/rock side project that just wasn't working for years and from there, started to slowly start over.
There were several unfinished recordings in the fallout of that last experience that left me with an annoying sense of unresolve.
One evening, after a Resilient show at Chaplin's Music Cafe in Spring City; owner, Chris Cachuela, revealed his plans to develop a new studio in the second floor of the venue.
With that simultaneous development began a project of a whole new level and the eventual completion of these three songs.
We had no strict deadline or outlined plans in place other than to take the songs, put some life into them, and have some fun while doing so.
In the end, we ended up completely redoing all of the tracks from scratch (with a little help from some friends), which allowed us to gain a new focus on the music and learn a whole lot in the process.
I eventually ended up shaking my post-traumatic perspectives towards recording in the studio, and Chris came into his own even more as an engineer.
I'm glad I could be a part of the development of Chaplin's new recording studio and that Chaplin's could be a part of my artistic growth, healing, and development more than I would've ever imagined.
This experience was definitely necessary for me more than I would've ever thought.
Thank you to everyone involved from the bottom of my silly heart.
